Good collaboration begins with the right people.
Robert H. Martin
Managing Director
Alqymy is led by Robert H. Martin, a strategist and facilitator with more than two decades of experience supporting mission-driven leaders and organizations. Robert’s background spans organizational strategy, leadership development, and values-based storytelling, with deep expertise in guiding coalitions, networks, and collaboratives through moments of complexity and change.
Robert brings a unique blend of strategic thinking and narrative skill, informed by his work as an award-winning documentary filmmaker and as former Head Teaching Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School for Marshall Ganz’s renowned course on public narrative as a leadership discipline. Whether supporting a grassroots coalition or a national foundation, Robert shows up as an ally, thought partner, and guide—helping people get unstuck, align around what matters, and move forward with clarity and purpose.
“I heard from several people who were willing to make time today because you were facilitating and that prompted them to prioritize it.”
“You inspire confidence!”
Collaboration is how we work—and how we’re built.
Just as we help our clients navigate complex collaboration, Alqymy itself is built on partnerships—bringing together the right people to meet each client’s needs and deliver transformative outcomes. We regularly work with colleagues who bring deep expertise in areas such as strategic communications, evaluation, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement, and we assemble teams based on the specific goals and context of each project.
Here are a few of the trusted partners we’ve had the privilege to collaborate with, and whose talents deepen and extend what we offer:
“The Alqymy team quickly understood our challenges and more importantly our opportunities—the big picture of where we want to go in the long-term, but also the details we need to get right today in order to fulfill that vision.”
